"Father and Daughter"

Father Beau dropped Dillan off this afternoon and I captured this picture of them with my old "Brownie" camera! I then dashed into the basement to my dark room and developed it for today's blog! Dillan and I had a nice stroll around the charming streets of Utica Square where we noticed lots of tulips, squirrels and a few left over piles of snow!

LOST in Fashionable Utica Square!!!

For the past few weeks I've been LOST on my own "Island"....I started with the very first episode of season 1 and have finally caught up on every single episode, all the way through this season 5!!!!! Sawyer asked a very pertinent question last Wednesday, "How would you feel if you had been stuck for three years in the 70's?" I hit the pause on my remote and thought....I was stuck for the entire 10 years!!!

9 Inches So Far....

What a privilege to be alive in this particular day and age!

While sitting on the beach in Sarasota Florida, my new friend and I read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and then traveled to World War II Hong Kong with "The Piano"...then we jumped into Frank Loyd Wright's love affair with Mamah! I absolutely love my new friend and I highly recommend that you all get yourself a Kindle 2 friend! This is the kind of friend that will snuggle up next to you and your dog on a snowy day...wait with you in that long line at the grocery store, the dentist office...this friend will go EVERYWHERE with you! She'll read to you in her female or male voice! Google Kindle 2 and watch the video!

It Might Be Snowing Today...But Summer is around the corner!

A Marriage Made In Heaven....

First came love and then came marriage and then came Dillan in a baby carriage!
Beau and Kim knew each other while growing up in Westlake Village, California. She moved back to Oklahoma and went on to OSU to graduate with honors! Beau followed us out at the beginning of the new century...they discovered each other on the patio of PF Changs...it began with a "Are you Beau Taylor?" And we all know the rest!

Baby Look a Like Contest!

Baby pictures of Grandma Tay and baby Dillan!
Dillan is so adorable and everyone thinks she looks like them...so I thought I would get into the act...I think she looks like me!

Meet My Sweet Niece Morgan Taylor!

Morgan Taylor! Isn't she so pretty! We all love her so! She reminds me alot of Grandma Taylor because she has such a loving disposition! She's not wild and crazy like my side of the family tends to be...she's just sophisticated! Morgan just spent almost a year in New York City and has come home to Green Country...we are happy she's back!

Crazy Book Pyramid?

My sweet niece Morgan sent me a book letter...I was to send one book to the name of the person on the back and then send out 6 letters to friends with Morgan's address on the back of each of my letters, along with my address labels included for each friends' six letters that they would send...get the drift? A few of my friends declined so I had no idea if I would get the 36 books? But my first book arrived today! Springtime reading sounds wonderful!

Ichiro B(e)ats Korea!!!!

Ichiro will soon have 3,000 hits in the major leagues...it's all up for debate, but most folks think he was the greatest baseball player in Japan since OH! He is currently on Stephen's Rotisserie League team! Dillan drools alot in anticipation of Ichiro hitting a single! But that pales in comparison to her devotion to Jose Batista, the sensational Toronto Blue Jay reserve!

Missing Grandma Taylor

Not a day goes by that I don't miss our sweet Grandma Taylor! She would have given me the "Queen's Wave" for starting a blog!

I cannot think of anyone that "loves" his daughter more than Stephen! The last episode of "Friday Night Lights" he burst into tears when Coach Taylor's daughter said, "I guess I'm not Daddy's little girl anymore"...Meg...don't worry....you are still our precious daughter! Many blessings are always sent to you each and everyday! P.S....the more you follow my blog you'll find out why I love Stephen so much...he has such loving feelings...he's not afraid to cry...he's such a GOOD man! And every morning he says "Good morning Meg" and blesses her!
I've never been the best at growing roses until I heard about "Knockout Roses"....I planted three last year and they have done soooo well! I'm thinking about planting a few more this spring of 2009! Green thumb or not....you can't go wrong with knockouts! They adapt to any soil and any life! So go plant the knock outs!
