Toy Story 3 Buzz and Jessie Dance

Yes, it's true! My old bones are achy from dancing with Dillan for about a 100 times to this song today... After dining on Lobster Bisque for lunch with Abuelo & myself.... Dillan needed just one more burst of energy before nap time ....She insisted we put her "Prrincess" dress back on because she just couldn't dance in regular clothes!!!! Hello .... I get that! Atmosphere, costume & mood create great moments of artistic expression!

Just go with it Buzz! .... as Jessie herself would say!
Back when Megan & Beau were little I would have spent the time they were napping by picking up & doing the dishes etc....
One of the great perks of being a Grandma for me is that I actually have a legitimate excuse to nap along with this precious 2 year old plus 9 months .... bundle of love! She fell asleep with Woody & Jessie, however she asked a sleepy question, "Where's Buzz?"
Before we dozed off, we decided that he had gone to Infinity & Beyond and would be back when we awakened:)
Sure enough, that's what her first words were when she woke up .... "Do you think Buzz is back?"
Plus Dillan is learning Spanish too

It was just a wee bit of time.... a short lunch and then nap time! Quality of time, not quantity :) Of course we did love watching her sleep!

Stephen and I had the pleasure of viewing the movie "The Help" this past weekend! Of course I had read the book and absolutely loved it! I was looking forward to the movie & in this case I really believe the movie lived up to the book! Stephen really, really liked the movie and declared it was the best picture he has seen all year!

PJ is Megan's long time friend! She was a bridesmaid in PJ & Jamie's wedding! She has spent the last 6 years celebrating Thanksgiving with them in their lovely Silverlake home!

The gang got together to see Final Destination 5 in 3D this past weekend!

I Had The Time Of My Life.... And I Owe It All To You!

Along with Abuelo & Grandmother Tay Tay....Woody & Jessie were propped up next to the ketchup & condiments! They watched me eat a kid's cheeseburger, Abuelo ate a Fat Guy Hotdog and Dillan exclaimed she was eating "The best grilled cheese sandwich ever"! Abuelo & Dillan each had handmade special milk shakes and she was so excited to dip her french fries into strawberry ketchup! At some point in our wonderful luncheon she stopped and just wanted to hug and hang on to Abuelo.... it was so sweet! I was sitting across from them and maybe I did get goosebumps & smile & record in my memory how wonderfully loving this moment was ... well because it really was!

So today Dillan learned to surf on her Dora The Explorer boogie board in the giant jacuzzi in our bedroom... Abuelo & I turned on the jets for the effect! We (along with Chickie Baby) hung out in the walk in closet with the lights turned off and just a flash light and read a book & made funny hand sillouette's on the wall and read a book that I so totally recommend to all! How Much Do I Love You!

Also, she turned to Abuelo and said, "Now Settle Down Abuelo"!!!!

I've been wanting to say that with the same conviction for 38 years!

We were rolling around with hysterical laughter!

Aaron Bruno was a good friend of Beau's during highschool and he IS AWOLNATION! He's meeting up with Beau before the concert! I hope they have fun catching up on life! As for Stephen & I, we are headed over to Fashionable Utica Square to meet Stephen's brother Pete & his lovely wife Kathie for dinner at the famous Polo Grill :)

Another crazy thing is happening right now! It's actually 109 degrees and we are having a thunderstorm? And pea size hail? Crazy day & crazy weather in our neck of the woods!

Our Trip To California Was......

Ever so fabulous! Thank you Zach for letting us stay at your quaint penthouse in Venice Beach!! We had such a wonderful time with you and Megan! It was the BEST getaway!
