Stephen was interviewed once again by the newspaper while he was attending an exhibition game between the Colorado Rockies and the Tulsa Drillers! A few weeks ago his interview was featured on page 2 ....but today he made the front page!!!! And he mentioned ME!

The Tulsa Drillers began their second season at ONEOK Field on Wednesday night with less fanfare and fewer fans in the stadium than were present at last year's season opener.
Could it be the beginning of a sophomore slump? Don't bet on it.
Wednesday's paid attendance was announced as 7,516, with fewer people actually in the park.
The fans who did show up to watch the Drillers defeat their parent club, the Colorado Rockies, 5-3, arrived wrapped in blankets and scarves.
It was that cold - 42 degrees when the first pitch was thrown at 6:07 p.m. - but these were serious baseball fans.
"I just got back from spring training a couple of weeks ago, so this is my second chance to see the Rockies," said Steve Taylor, a Drillers season ticket holder who wore a scarf to keep warm Wednesday night.
Taylor, 60, moved from the Los Angeles area to Tulsa nine years ago. He attended about half of the Drillers' home games last year and expects to do the same this year.
When he can, he brings his wife, luring her with other downtown attractions.
"My wife is not a huge baseball fan, but if we can combine going to dinner and coming over here for a few innings, that gets her in," Taylor said.
That the $39.2 million ballpark in the Greenwood District would bring people downtown - not just to the ballpark - was the primary argument civic leaders used to rally support for building it.

Troy Tulowitzki Is In Tulsa Town!
Stephen went to see the Colorado Rockies play our own Tulsa Drillers at beautiful Oneoak Field this evening! The temps were really cold, probably like going to a regular Rockies game? All the regulars played, including old Todd Helton (Stephen's back up first baseman who he picked up in the 29th round of his Rotisserie League Draft last night)... Another highlight was when Stephen was once again interviewed by the Tulsa World for his thoughts on the new stadium & baseball!
At the top of the 5th he rushed home to bring me a Fat Guy Cheeseburger & to meet the new owners of our beloved green Land Rover & a notary public! Good bye old green Land Rover.... you served us well :)

So Funny!
I discovered a new place today (across from Whole Foods) called Lambrusco'z To Go ..... Hello? Where have I been the last few years? I picked up a Mary Brett casserole, their famous white queso, yummy bread and a Feta salad that Stephen absolutely loved! I also had the most fabulous lunch with my best friend Lynne & her sister Janet @ The CheeseCake Factory!! Lynne ordered us a sumptuous dessert and we all had two scrumptious bites !
When I came home our dear Dillan had just been delivered to our happy home & I brought home the Giant smile with the rose.... she posed for this photo!

Tulips & Pansies Out Front Under The Oak Tree!
After Stephen took me to a swank Italian restaurant on Cherry Street for lunch, after I had a manicure & pedicure & hair cut:) What did I do? I came home and marveled at the pansies & tulips hovering around the oak tree out front! To add to my joy ... Dillan came over and the three of us dug up some worms and put them in a Sun Maid raisin container after we had eaten all the raisins.... I'll go out in awhile and release the worms back into the wild .... of Fashionable Utica Square soil :)
BANGS
( bangs) a fringe of hair cut straight across the forehead
We have always thought Meg looked super cute with bangs AND ... she still does!

Coming Up .... Easter!
This is an exciting time of the year for people that experience a little bit of the seasons! When you have had snow & blizzard & boots and warm coats weather .... you really appreciate these beautiful spring days! Last night to the left of our front door... you could tell a few tulips were about to make an announcement and this morning they showed their faces! The daffodils are sprouting their vibrant yellow ( Grandma always called them Jonquils) .... and the Redbud Trees are blossoming! Spring is special :)
Flowers begin to bloom, trees begin to leaf. Despite everything, despite the extremes of winter, the extremes of human conflict, spring arrives..... I welcome you once again!

Stay Away.....
The doctor says I'm contagious!
I've never had "Pink Eye" and my eyeballs feel like they are on fire, literally! Now I feel so bad for all of you who have had this & I didn't feel more sympathy for you.... I just thought your eyes were pink?

Baseball Gets Some Attention!
Stephen was interviewed for the Tulsa World Newspaper!!!

Tulsa is a city obsessed with college basketball this weekend. On Saturday, however, at ONEOK Field a lot of people had baseball on their minds.
DrillersFest allowed fans to buy tickets, purchase Tulsa Drillers gear, eat their first ballpark hot dogs since late last summer and just soak up some baseball atmosphere on the last day of a winter that won't be missed.
The NCAA Tournament is occupying the BOK Center this weekend, but for hard-core baseball fans "March Madness" means the euphoric anticipation of a new season about to start.
"Baseball's the greatest," Steve Taylor of Tulsa said Saturday. "The way it's passed down from generation to generation, seeing the green grass of the field for the first time. With the other sports it's not the same."
The 60-year-old California transplant's first memories of baseball involve seeing the Dodgers in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum right after they moved west from Brooklyn. He would later watch pitchers Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale baffle batters at Dodger Stadium.
Taylor's childhood passion for the Dodgers faded, but his love of the game has not. He recently returned from a week in Arizona, where he watched 12 teams play in seven spring training games. He also plays in a high-stakes fantasy league and holds Drillers season tickets.

Our Cheerful, Bright and Colorful New Bedspread :)
I had such fun today shopping because everything I bought was 70 percent off! Including this new bedspread quilt! I must be really, really looking forward to spring & flowers and more sunshine! April 15th is the "safe" date to start planting annuals here :)
Spring Forward!
It seemed pretty cool that I changed the time on this kitchen clock while Stephen was actually watching the Dodgers play the Giants in Arizona live!!!
These avid Hummel readers belonged to Grandma and they sit next to a charming chiming little clock! (That also was Grandmas!)
I never know where I'll find "Sock Monkey" after Dillan leaves? Today he's sitting on a sweet little chair that belonged to Dillan's great, great, great Grandparents!!!! My Mother found the chair & matching love seat in her Grandparent's chicken coop when she was first married!
This figure head of a women from a boat has been sailing with us through life for a very, very long time! I hope everyone is adjusting to the new time change? We'll have a lot more light in the evenings to play outdoors:)

My dear friend Kerri gave me this pillow cover, isn't it so very sweet?
And your mind from troubles free,
When of the others you are thinking,
Will you sometimes think of me?
The pillow cover is from Red Lodge Montana!
Thank You Kerri!

What Happens When You Have A Bowl Full Of 100 Easter Eggs?
Dillan and I got out the Easter decorations last week and had so much fun! I just couldn't resist buying these eggs after Easter (70 percent off) last year! Some might think I'm crazy! ... Some might think I'm crazy for letting her go crazy:) But I think this video shows that joy comes in many ways!
