Hot Springs Arkansas Fun!
We headed off to Hot Springs for the President's Day horse races! Yea!
Had a lovely dinner!
We picked some good horses to bet on and came out way ahead for the day!

22 Hours With Dillan!
A present for ME? Dillan anticipates a present from Abuelo... having just visited Fashionable Utica Square! It's something ever so sweet she spied in a window display while hanging out at Starbucks yesterday!
Oh! What's that? It's the Oscar Mayer Weiner mobile parked next to PF Changs in Fashionable Utica Square ... Dillan said, "That's a big Hotdog car"!!!
It's 79 degrees in Febuary? In the last two weeks we have had a 100 degree temperature swing... how can that be? Dillan helped her Abuelo fill up the fountain out on the deck!
She came in soaked and so happy and yet they went out to fill the fountain out front too! We've had the doors open and can hear the sweet sounds of the trickling water :) After experiencing a blizzard just two weeks ago ... we are cherishing our sunny afternoons!
Now we are on to finger painting!!! While Abuelo supervised the art project I was busy back in the master bath filling up the jacuzzi with warm bubble water so we could carry her directly to her splish splash fun! Once Dillan was in her soft jammies she was ready to call it a day... Abuelo slept peacefully downstairs & I slept upstairs in the bedroom next to Dillan. I swear I heard her everytime she turned over.... which means I didn't get a good night's sleep :) But that's okay!
After having gone to the famous "Blue Dome Route 66 Cafe" for breakfast with dear friends Bob & Rhonda ....She had some "Humpty Dumpty" eggs and was ready to run around the backyard and get dirty and have fun like everyone else today!! Dillan even tried to climb a tree:) A present for me? Just an old fashion sock monkey! So cute!
Oh No! I don't want Abuelo to go off to work.... so I'm lucky that he'll make it easier for me by taking me on a spin around the block and let me honk the mini cooper horn!Wednesday, February 16, 2011
Jeggings are leggings which are styled to look like tight denim jeans
Jeggings were brought on by the resurgence in style of skinny jeans in the mid- to late-2000s, when a higher demand for even tighter style of pant came about. Since jeggings are typically made of a denim/spandex blend, they are often worn on their own as opposed to under a skirt or dress.
Not until Sunday morning had I even heard of "Jeggings" and now I own a pair... thanks to Chicos!

Cupid
The first arrow struck in the morning when Stephen walked in with a LOVELY flower bouquet!
I LOVE gerber daisies :) While he was purchasing the flowers up in Fashionable Utica Square @ the flower shoppe ..... he was filmed for the nightly news, which we LOVED watching later in the eve!
Hello Kitty is the spitting image of Chickie Baby! The second arrow came when Dillan opened up a Hello Kitty bag containing her very own stuffed Chickie Baby! She LOVED it!
One of cupid's arrow was definitely the LOVE of picking Dillan up from pre-school and having her come home with us to play!
Dillan LOVES to have tea parties up in her princess house with her dolls ..... we decided it was time she served something sweet with the tea and now she has some yummy fake cupcakes!

More Snow Arrived Again Today :)
Stephen and I bundled up and headed out into the white wonderland AND... the snow started falling again in slow motion :) We hit the drugstore, picked up his payroll, restocked @ WholeFoods and then stopped at the famous "Claud's" (est 1947) for a cheeseburger craving! I think we now have an additional 3 or 4 inches of the fluffy white stuff? The funniest visual moment today was when I saw I guy shoveling the snow out of the parking lot of Leslie's Pool Supplies?

Thanks to everyone who sent me best wishes and love.... I am so happy to be 57 years old! I love my life! The most wonderful thing about getting older is.... the things that might have upset you in your youth just seem silly now! You become mellow about everything ... why waste your energy ... just get in touch with your own happiness and learn to appreciate the miracles that surround us :)
Growing older each year is totally cool!
