38 Years....

July 28th, 1973 at 8:11 .... I walked down the aisle to Stephen and took vows that I would love him through EVERYTHING and I have done that and I'm proud! It just some how worked with us?

Loving My Life..... A Vacation To Table Rock Lake To The Chateau On The Lake With Family!

We had such a wonderful time!! Southwest Mo is really a beautiful place to be, especially if you are with your family!

Table Rock Lake Summer Fun!!!!!!

We packed up the Land Rover and headed north-east with Kim & Dillan! Our first stop was two blocks away ...to Fashionable Utica Square for Starbucks coffee :} We lunched in Joplin MO at Maria's Mexican Restaurant! With our tummies full of mexican tacos and chili rellenos ... we got back on the road .... listening to Micky Mouse cd's & Radiohead cd's!
Once we got to Chateau On The Lake, Abuelo & Kim headed off for hot stone massages & Dillan & I explored the hotel and went to the pool!



We really enjoyed our entire weekend and were especially sad to say goodbye to three days of pure luxury! We headed south to Arkansas so we could drive home through Springdale for some AQ panfried chicken:)

Dillan Sweetly Called Me Grand Mother Today!

My heart melted! Oh, yes Dillan .... I'm your Grand Mother Tay Tay! I'm Grandma Tay Tay!

She seemed really proud to come to this conclusion .... I'm her Grand Mother.... And so proud!

We have showed her pictures of Megan and Beau when they were little, explaining that they grew up.... just like she will!
We have showed her pictures of Our Beloved Grandma (Stephen's Mom) ... I'm not quite sure she understands that Abuelo had a Mommy & Daddy?
All I know is that she called me Grandmother, and I was ever so proud to claim the name!

She yelled .... Grandmother, Grandmother ... where are you? I was in the next room folding clothes! It was like hearing the sweetest song on earth!

Kim has been taking Dillan to Miller's swim school for swimming lessons:) On Tuesday & Thursdays! How fun!
