My sweet niece Jillann arrived on Thursday for a whirlwind weekend of reunion activities! Jillann is my sister Ann's daughter and brother to Jaimie Muehlhausen! We remember her in high school :) She was in the "GLEE" club and we saw her crowned homecoming queen & she was a very feisty & talented cheerleader...... I think she had a BLAST seeing all of her friends, so many went on to OU and were college friends & sorority sisters as well.....she saw friends that she had known since even grade school! What a wonderful trip back in time!
Kim, Jillann & Aunt JillShe went to Grand Lake with friends & played on the water, played golf against all the guys, had lunch with girlfriends & reunion activities on Friday & Saturday nights ..... finally the weekend was winding down & after one last Starbucks Sunday morning with classmates .....we were able to grab her for a family lunch at our favorite hole in the wall mexican joint! Her Aunt Jill & Uncle Shane drove 2 hours to see her and at long last she was able to meet Kim & Dillan!
Okay, this is kinda cool....both Kim & Jillann were both born on February 10th! Not surprisingly, they hit it off & became friends immediately! Jillann is a nurse and has a devoted husband and a daughter named Jenna and a son named Carter.... and she traveled from the Boulder Colorado area to visit!
Stephen & I both decided that it has been a huge pleasure having watched Jillann grow up! And to now see what she has become ... such a wonderful, beautiful grown up lady..... that is very happy and content:) Well ... It just makes your heart sing!
Thank you Jillann.... and before I forget... the temperatures were outrageously HIGH here in the midwest! You were defintitely a Oklahoma trooper!
