Fun Birthday Gifts.....

More Birthday roses! I put them in the ceramic pot I made in a high school art class! Umm, that would have been around 1970? 40 years ago!

On a recent trip to Mexico, my niece Morgan picked up this Frida Kahlo beach bag for my Birthday! I'll be sporting it along the Sarosota beaches come next month!

My next door neighbor Pam, who just happens to be celebrating her Birthday today, gave me this amazing musical instrument! Dillan especially enjoyed my Harmonica skills!

Nephew Max gave me this funky compact mirror to tote in my purse!

Thanks to EVERYONE for making my 56th Birthday so very special!

Question to Meg:

Who do you look up to more, your Mom or your Dad?

I look to both of them in totally different ways. My Mom is compassionate, sweet, outgoing, very stylish, aggressive in all the right ways...and thinks way out side the box. She has always encouraged me to be unique, creative and artistic.

My Dad is so dry and witty and smart. He gives solid practical advice when my Mom's advice is more whimsical and involves a poem. My Dad will never let you down-he is the hardest working man around and has never complained that he has to hold us all up. They are both great!
